LOOKING FOR JOAN (nee Brookes/Dawber)

KATIE SHAUGHNESSY of 2 Hesketh Walk, Farnworth, Bolton, writes: My grandma, Eileen (nee Brookes/Dawber) hasn't seen her older sister Joan for years.
We believe she married Bill Aspinall and lived in Swinton area for a while, then nothing more has been heard or seen of her.
Joan was born in Bolton 1921, her mother Sara Ferguson, Father William Dawber and Sister Eileen.
Their mother died when they where very young, and so they where adopted by their aunty and uncle, George and Phoebe Brookes, and after living in Albert Street, Farnworth they moved to Lord Street, where my grandma still lives.
My grandma who is now 85, married Austin Shaughnessy who sadly passed away on December 25, 1983, and they had two daughters Maureen and Anne.
If anyone has any information about Joan please contact me, even if it is bad news, as my grandma would desperately want to be able put her mind at rest knowing what has happened to her.
