HORWICH got into the festive spirit on Friday night as the town's Christmas lights were switched on.
The Mayor of Horwich, Cllr Ken Denton, and Mayors Sue Denton turned on the lights at the Crown roundabout, accompanied by the Lord Street Primary School choir and the Rivington and Blackrod High School band.
Father Christmas also made an appearance on the Horwich Rotary Club sleigh.
