Green light for new play area in Newbeck Close, Horwich PIC: Google Maps
A CONTROVERSIAL new play area has been given the green light.
Councillors have granted permission for Bolton Council to go ahead with the scheme in Newbeck Close, Horwich, despite a number of objections from neighbours.
Concerns had been raised about anti-social behaviour, noise, and traffic in the area.
However, the proposals were given the go-ahead at a meeting of the council’s planning committee yesterday afternoon.
