WEARABLE art is among the exhibits at a new Bolton town centre exhibition by artist Mary Rudkin.
It is being held at CreateBolton, a registered charity in Claremont House off Bark Street which supports local artists and the community, and runs from until August 5.
Horwich-based Mary has called her new exhibition Living in the Landscape. She explained: “It explores our relationship with our environment and how our clothes and lives respond to our surroundings.”
As well as large canvases of her trademark watercolours of landscapes, Mary has already used fabric paint to create scenes on denim jackets and other accessories.
After a launch evening, Mary said: “It was really special to see my work displayed in such a perfect setting, with so many friends and family along to celebrate the collection.
“CreateBolton work so hard to promote creativity and their warmth and support is priceless. I just loved the whole evening.”
