CHALLENGE: The group of cyclists that rode from Blackpool to Sam's Bar in Horwich
A GROUP of cyclists rode from Blackpool to Horwich and raised more than £700 for charity.
Mark Newton, Roy Hambleton, Ryan Longworth, George Lowe, Stuart Sellers, Christian Oaks, Eric Chung, Luke Tongue, and Rick Wood all undertook the arduous challenge for Cancer Research UK.
They were also joined by youngsters Pheobe Sellers aged 12 and Alisha Knowles aged 9, who began their journey from Chorley. The team finished the ride at Sam’s Bar in Lee Lane.
It was held in memory of Mr Newton’s aunt Barbara.
