A BOLTON heritage group is to host the latest in its series of talks.
Horwich Heritage will welcome guest speaker Paul Hindley for a special talk on the Manchester, Bolton and Bury Canal.
Completed in 1808, the disused canal spans over 15 miles from the River Irwell in Salford to end points in Bolton and Bury.
The meeting will take place at The Horwich Community Centre in Longworth Road, at 7.30pm on March 13.
The talk is open to members of the public and is £2 to attend for visitors or free entry for members.
