A PROPERTY in Horwich, which was used to grow cannabis, was raided by police officers
Greater Manchester Police's neighbourhood team executed warrants at the address, in Lindsay Street, close to Chorley New Road.
Officers confirmed that almost 60 large plants were discovered across three upstairs rooms in the home, which had been converted into a large farm with heat lamps.
All of the plants, and the equipment used to grow them, have now been removed from the property and destroyed.
Police thanked "community intelligence" for providing support in this case.
