POLICE are launching a crackdown on motorists who break the law today.
The aim of the Lancashire Police initiative is to focus on the dangerous and discourteous drivers and will include motorists in Adlington and Rivington.
Officers will use intelligence and the latest technology to target these individuals.
Sgt Steve Moon said: "This new initiative will focus on the small number of repeat offenders that cause a menace on our roads, showing a total disregard to other people when using their vehicles.
"I would appeal to local communities who have problems like these and know of drivers who continually abuse the roads to contact us."
Call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
