A shopkeeper has been stabbed in the hand during a robbery in Failsworth.
A masked man went into Alder Store on Alder Road at 5.45pm last night armed with a large knife and demanded cash.
The offender jumped over the counter and struggled with the victim, before grabbing cash from the till and running off up Alder Road.
The victim suffered two cuts to his fingers from the knife and was left extremely shaken.
The offender is described as white, 5ft 10in of medium build. He was wearing black trousers, a black jacket and had his face covered with a cream coloured balaclava or stocking.
