Traffic jams bring Bolton to a standstill

MORNING rush-hour traffic was seriously disrupted this morning.

It followed a collision involving a Ford Transit and Ford Focus near the Bay Mare pub in Blackburn Road, Astley Bridge at 6.45am.

The driver of the Focus was taken to hospital with suspected collar bone and leg injuries.

The road was blocked as a result, causing temporary traffic tail-backs.

Fine example of some people jumping the gun when writing stuff down and not giving a second thought to people who actually read these comments and how it may affect the people involved and their family & friends. I'm glad that your uncles injuries where not worse than they are and I wish him a speedy recovery.

I saw the crash too and I'm sorry for people involved, I was just trying get people who commented on an accident last week in Daubhill that accidents do happen and are not always a scam.
