Gritters set to take to streets today
Gritters are set to be out on Bolton's streets from 4pm today as snow is expected to fall on the town yet again.
Bolton Council is planning to cover 317 miles of road which is more than half of the total road network, it says.
It will also grit at 9pm and throughout the night, depending on the weather.

so my bins not been emptied because gritters are out, fookin hell, 1 man drives a gritter, were are the other 2 workin today?
Anyway, the heavy rain is going to wash all the grit away. Large pools of water are already forming on some main roads.
