MIRACLE man Fabrice Muamba is the latest star to sign up for a charity dance contest which will raise funds for the Manchester United Foundation.
The former England U21 and Bolton Wanderers player, pictured, had his career cut short when he suffered a cardiac arrest in an FA Cup match last March.
Following a spectacular recovery, he took part in last year’s Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special on BBC One — and is now preparing to take to the dance floor at the inaugural Dancing With United event.
He will be partnered with former Strictly Come Dancing champion Lilia Kopylova for the evening. The pair will face competition from ex-Manchester United stars Peter Schmeichel and Quinton Fortune, while Gary Neville will be on the judging panel.
Other celebrities battling it out to win the inaugural Dancing With United trophy include Coronation Street stars Shobna Gulati, Antony Cotton and Jennie McAlpine, plus Strictly stars Lisa Riley, Camilla Dallerup and James and Ola Jordan.
Guests will also enjoy live entertain-ment, a three-course meal and auction of money-can’t-buy prizes.
All proceeds from the event will go to the Manchester United Foundation, which offers football coaching and skills training to disadvantaged young people.
Dancing With United takes place at Lancashire County Cricket Club on March 7.
