Fundraiser to remember Kay

THERE are still tickets available for a fundraising event being held in memory of a Bolton mother.

The Northern Soul evening will be held at Lancashire Cricket Club’s The Point on Saturday, March ,9 to raise £72,000 for Boot Out Breast Cancer, the charity run by Debbie Dowie, football pundit Iain Dowie’s wife.

The money raised will be spent on equipment for Wigan Royal Infirmary.

The evening is being held in memory of Kay Gibson, a mother-of-three, from Bolton, who lost her battle with breast cancer on October 24 last year. She worked at the Wigan Royal Infirmary as a pharmacist.
