A ‘groan’ from Johnny on Strictly

BOLTON TV legend Johnny Ball and Bury actress Lisa Riley made their Strictly Come Dancing debuts at the weekend.
On Saturday night’s first show, the celebrities were paired up with their dance partners for the BBC1 series.
Mr Ball — who at 74 is the oldest ever contestant to take part in the show — groaned when he was told he would be dancing with last year's winner Aliona Vilani. He explained he groaned “only because we danced together in training and I kept getting it wrong.”
Fat Friends star Lisa Riley said she was lucky to have been given ] muscle-bound partner Robin Windsor but reckoned he would have his hands full trying to lift her. The former Emmerdale actress was swept off her feet by the hunk when announced he would be her professional sidekick.
