A SOCK thief has been fined £38.
Christopher Murphy, aged 43, of Fernclough Road, Harpurhey, stole two pairs worth £4 from Sports Direct in Oxford Street, Bolton on January 24.
He was also ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs by Bolton magistrates.
