AWARD-winning watercolour artist Robert Broughton visits the Chetham Arms in Chapeltown, Turton on April 30 to discuss his work.
Mr Broughton is a former student of the acclaimed Bolton College of Art, in Bromwich Street, where he studied decorating and interior design for six years.
His career developed from working for two paint manufacturers in an advisory capacity to becoming a contracts manager for a large firm of painting contractors on the Fylde coast.
He returned to full-time study in 1980 to gain a teaching qualification before becoming a lecturer at Preston College.
Mr Broughton supports various charities from sales of his work.
