YOUNG Einsteins enjoyed a trip to Geneva, Switzerland, to see the work at CERN, the European Organisation for the Nuclear Research.
The Year 10 and 11 Rivington and Blackrod High School pupils also visited the Red Cross Museum and the United Nations Headquarters.
Their visit to CERN saw them descending 100m underground to see the Large Hadron Collider and its workings were explained by the scientists based there.
