A “BEST Care Bus” will stop off in Bolton to gather residents view’s on the proposed shake-up of the health services.

The Healthier Together bus will park up in the Morrisons car park, in Blackhorse Street, on Monday.

Review experts will be on hand to explain the plans and how to take part in the consultation.

There will be computer terminals on the bus so people can respond to the consultation online, as well as paper copies of the consultation document.

Dr Wirin Bhatiani, chairman of the NHS Bolton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), said: “The CCG wants everyone in our borough to have the opportunity to get involved in Healthier Together, and have their say on how healthcare should be delivered.

“These proposals represent a significant transformation in healthcare so it is vitally important that we hear from as many people as possible before a final decision is made. So, why not get on board and find out more?”

The CCG will also be holding public meetings, speaking to local groups, and attending events to talk to people about the proposed changes. The pubic ha until September 30 to read the consultation document and fill out the forms either online or on paper.
