BOLTON beauty salon owner Helen Wood’s Big Brother victory will not be investigated by communications watchdog Ofcom.

A 3,270 signature petition was handed to Ofcom and Channel Five after the 27-year-old, from Bromley Cross, won the reality show last month.

The petition raised concerns about the mother-of-one’s behaviour in the Big Brother house and voting during the final.

A spokesman said: “We assessed complaints made as part of the petition and did not consider they raised issues warranting investigation under our rules.”

An investigation has been launched into the broadcast of offensive language before the watershed in an episode of Big Brother on August 7, the spokesman added.
