FIRE crews were called to a bin fire in Deane.
The wheelie bin went up in flames in Parkinson Street at about 10.30pm on Monday.
Firefighters are now urging residents to not leave their bins in the street.
Phil Dearden, crew manager at Bolton Central fire station, said: “We do have a problem with wheelie bins being set on fire deliberately in Bolton.
“That’s why we’re advising people to always make sure they move their bins after they’ve been emptied.”
