TWO wheelie bins were set on fire in Daubhill — prompting a warning from fire chiefs.
Crews were called to Croston Street at 7.30pm and then to neighbouring Brandwood Street an hour later.
Firefighters are advising people not to leave their bins in back streets overnight.
Crew manager Phil Dearden, of Bolton Central fire station, said: “We have got a problem with bin fires in this area at the moment.
“We would urge people to not leave their bins in the street and only put them out on the morning of collections.”
On Monday, firefighters were called to a bin set alight in Parkinson Street.
