FUNERAL arrangements have been made for a man who fell to his death down a lift shaft in a block of town centre flats.
Craig Jones, aged 27, died on August 30 after falling out of a lift he had prised open in Marsden House where he lived.
The procession will leave Birtwistle’s Funeral Service at 1.30pm on Tuesday, with a service taking place at St Thomas’ Church in Halliwell at 2pm.
The committal will be at Overdale Crematorium at 3.30pm.
Mr Jones’ family invite donations to be made to a fun day being organised by some of Mr Jones’ friends at The Brooklyn in Great Lever on October 19.
They are aiming to put funds raised into a trust fund for Mr Jones’ one-year-old niece Hannah and nephew Tyler, aged four.
