A LARGE stable will be built on Smithills farmland after plans were approved.
Mr A Grimshaw successfully applied to Bolton Council for permission to build the agricultural livestock building in land adjacent to Old Kiln Lane, as well as creating a silage area and access track.
Officers at Bolton Council accepted the new building would have an impact on the green belt, but welcomed proposals by Mr Grimshaw to help screen the construction by carrying out more landscaping around it.
