A GROUP opposed to fracking will meet next month.
Bolton Against Fracking will be at the The Kitchen on Great Moor Street at 7pm on Wednesday, December 10.
Hydraulic fracturing, known as fracking, is the process of drilling and injecting fluid into the ground at a high pressure to fracture shale rocks to release natural gas inside.
The group's last meeting was attended by several councillors and anyone is welcome to attend, whether against fracking, pro-fracking or unsure to find out more.
The extensive use of fracking in the US, where it has revolutionised the energy industry, has also prompted environmental concerns.
