LAW firm Russell and Russell has recruited Alex Walsh to deal with all aspects of commercial property law.
Mr Walsh has joined the Bolton solicitors' practice from Napthens in Preston where his clients included Booths and Northern Trust.
"The resurgence of the commercial property sector presents a real opportunity and I’m delighted to be joining a firm with such ambitious plans," said Mr Walsh. "Russell and Russell has a long history and a reputation for providing outstanding service and I’m looking forward to continuing this ethos with the firm’s commercial property division.”
A graduate of the University of Leicester and Manchester Metropolitan University, Mr Walsh will work from the firm’s head office in Wood Street, Bolton.
He will deal with commercial property law, including acquisitions and disposals, leases and licences, portfolio management, property finance and development.
Managing partner at Russell and Russell Stephen Crompton said: “Although we have offered a commercial property service for some time, it hasn’t been a major focus of the business.
"That said, over the years, we have built an extensive network of contacts and a solid customer base which I’m sure Alex will develop further.
"He has an exemplary track record and his experience of working with large corporations, banks, owner managed businesses, charities and individual investors will complement our offer.”
