CLINICS run by Bolton RSPCA will start again next year on Tuesday January 6.

The clinics are held every fortnight for people on means-tested benefits and are for basic treatments including flea and worm treatment, microchipping and vaccinations, at its St George's Road centre.

Owners wishing to make an appointment or needing information can contact the Bolton branch on 01204 521160.

The clinic is run on an appointment-only basis.

A pet check with flea and worm treatment as well as microchipping costs £15, or £10 without the microchipping. Vaccinations cost a further £10 each.

The advice centre and charity shop will be closed from December 24 and will re-open on Friday January 2.

For emergencies: contact 0300 1234 999.
