A SERIES of five workshops will be held to help people trace their family history
Tutor, Rita Greenwood, from the Bolton and District Family History Society, will illustrate more advanced sources for family history research starting February 28 February.
It w ill examine how Parish Record can help further research; studying the contents of the parish chest and how they can assist in locating ancestors in parishes where they were not born, and how to go about proving who the father of an illegitimate child and wills.
Researchers of all abilities are welcome. T

The workshops run from 10am to noon.
