POLICE across the country, including in Bolton, are urgently seeking the whereabouts of a 36-year-old Polish national.
Stanislav Mielko was last seen at about 5.30pm in the Thornaby area of North Yorkshire on Tuesday December 16.
Officers have warned that Mr Mielko may appear to be in a very agitated state and could pose a danger to the public if he is challenged.
The 36-year-old is thought to have links to the Northumbria and Edinburgh areas — and it is believed he may have travelled to London.
He is described as being around 6ft tall and has various tattoos about his body.
He was last seen wearing a dark grey hat, a dark grey hooded top, dark grey jeans, black trainers and was carrying a red rucksack.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Stanislav is asked not to approach him and to contact police immediately on 999.
