BURGLARS struck at a Bolton theatre but left empty-handed.
Police were called to the Octagon Theatre, Howell Croft South, at 9.50pm on Tuesday to reports of a break-in.
A police spokesman said the offender or offenders broke in through a secure door before making their way to the office area.
No arrests have yet been made but officers are reviewing CCTV footage of the incident.
A spokesman for the theatre said nothing was stolen.
