SCORES of town centre workers were left fuming after cars were unable to exit a town centre car park yesterday.
vehicles were queueing as high as the fourth floor of the NCP Car Park next to the Octagon Theatre where many council staff and other workers chose to park each day.
The problem arose after the machine which receives tickets in order to release a barrier and allow cars to exit developed a fault.
One motorist, who did not wish to be named, said: "I have been sat in my car for at least 30 minutes, it is just ridiculous."
