A STATIONARY thief has been jailed for 20 weeks.
Robert Greeney, aged 41, of no fixed abode admitted stealing a haul of stationary worth more than £50 from Ryman's stationary shop at Bolton Magistrates Court.
He twice visited the store, initially stealing a diary worth £5.99 on January 23 before returning on January 27 to steal stationary valued at more than £45.
Magistrates handed him a prison sentence lasting a total of 20 weeks.
