A MAN has been charged with raping a woman in Farnworth.
Leon Bent did not enter a plea when he appeared at Bolton Magistrates Court on Monday.
The 24-year-old faces two charges of rape, which he will answer at Bolton Crown Court on May 15.
Bent, of Glynne Street, Farnworth, has been remanded in custody until then.
He is alleged to have attacked a woman in the early hours of April 24.
