WIGAN’S annual Food and Drink Festival has been cancelled next year.
The festival, organised by Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust, has been popular since it was introduced in 2007.
However, the amount of support from private sector sponsors has reduced by £10,000 this year which has led to the decision to cancel.
