Poor turnout for PCC elections

AS the results of yesterday's election to choose a Police and Crime Commissioner for Greater Manchester are awaited figures have been released showing a poor turn-out nationwide for the PCC elections.

Although some areas reported turn-out rates of 20 per cent of the electorate in Greater Manchester it was just 13.5 per cent.
