THE North West Air Ambulance charity is on the hunt for theatrical talent to help save lives.
Young actors and actresses are needed to star in its new promotional video to highlight the work the air ambulance does 365 days a year.
In tough economic times, when charities are finding it increasingly hard to raise funds, the North West Air Ambulance is hoping a very different charity video will keep the region’s two emergency helicopters flying.
So, a special audition will be held to find three young actors to star in the video. The film will be shown at major fund-raising events and presentations across the North West.
Those applying must be: aged between eight and 12, be able to ad lib and improvise and not be camera shy!
Charity chief executive Lynda Brislin said, “As a charity we can’t rest on our laurels and we are determined to find new and innovative ways to keep the air ambulance at the forefront of people’s minds.
Having youngsters star in our charity video is a very exciting prospect and we hope the audition will be well attended.”
Parents and guardians attending with their child should expect each entrant to read from a short script, and also improvise a short scene.
Any parent or guardian who considers entering their son or daughter should email firstname.lastname@example.org for an application form and details of the audition.
