No pay back for Lowon mum jailed for stealing from employers

A MUM who stole more than £139,000 over 18 months from her employers will not be forced to pay any of it back.

The Journal reported in November last year how Deborah Jukes, of Chandler Way, Lowton, had stolen the cash to to pay off the previous company she had stolen from as well as a luxury holiday and 40th birthday party.

The 41-year-old was jailed for two years.

But Warrington Crown Court heard on Monday Jukes had no ‘realisable assets’ and the amount which could be recovered was £1 which was not going to be enforced by the courts.
