PIRATES have inspired children at Culcheth Primary School to explore lots of fascinating topics.
They planned a pirate picnic and designed their own dishes such as pirate pizza, pesto pasta, popcorn, pink pop, followed by pink ice cream with peaches and pineapple.
Head teacher Amanda Smith said: “The children made their own hats, dressed up in pirate costumes and took it in turns to walk the plank on their new pirate play ship.”
Children enjoyed lots of fun and games at the school in Warrington Road.
