Youth quilt goes in display in Accrington

A QUILT depicting the stories of young people across Lancashire is coming to Accrington.

An event is being held at Accrington Library centred around the Urban Patch Quilt. The quilt is a piece of textile art made by young people for young people based on their experiences of being in the care of Lancashire County Council and the youth justice system.

Each piece of the quilt represents the views and experiences of a child or young person. It has been put together with help of individuals who work with young people.

The quilt is on show at the St James Street Library on Wednesday between 9am and 5pm.
