BAGS of goods have been collected for charity by college students.
After hearing The British Heart Foundation Shop, in Accrington, was struggling for donations, students at Accrington and Rossendale College arranged a collection of goods weighing over 75kg.
The collection ran throughout February, which was National Heart Foundation month, and was presented to the shop this week.
Accrington British Heart Foundation store manager Lesley Hudson said: “It was a great effort by all of the students. This will boost our stock and raise money which will go into research and preventative care.”
