Snow causing rush hour problems for motorists across Greater Manchester
8:28am Friday 22nd March 2013 in North West
Snow has caused problems for motorists in the region but Leigh has escaped the worst weather.
SNOW, sleet and strong south easterly winds meant few people are venturing outdoors in Leigh and surround towns.
At times snow was being driven horizontally by winds of up to 30 miles per hour but although snowfall continues roads and footpaths are not badly affected.
