DUE to water mains works, our road is reduced to half its size,so there is only room for one car to pass at the moment.

There are barriers in the road to prevent us from falling into the trench that is the length of the road.

There are diggers, there's a lorry with a scooper on top that is too large to turn around so has to reverse the length of the road to drive off, there is a road surfacing machine the size of a cement mixer, there are half a dozen men with wheelbarrows of hot road surfacing, there are temporary traffic lights at either end of this road which has a bend and a dead end.

But still they come...the very silly parents of children who attend Heyes Lane School, still doing their level best, bless them, to park as near to their 'local ' school as they possibly can.

It's bad enough having to put up with them on a daily basis with their inconsiderate parking when there are no roadworks.

Why are these parents even on this quiet road which is in Sale, when their children attend a Timperley school?
