TEENAGERS in Bacup celebrated the half-term holiday at a special opening of KG’s Youth Cafe.
The King Street venue, managed by Lancashire County Council’s Young People’s Service, hosts sessions teaching cookery, music and crafts skills.
It also offers education and awareness about teenage health, drugs and alcohol, smoking, healthy eating, exercise, sexual health and relationships.
Lisa Spencer, from the centre, said: “The event was a part of a Lancashire-wide launch promoting our youth centres that will become a yearly event.”
Samantha Cunliffe, the winner of a quiz on the night, was rewarded with a £50 clothing voucher.
