A CELEBRATION of the rich wildlife and heritage at Pennington Flash Country Park drew in the crowds.
Clog dancing, wood turning demonstrations, folk music with Chonkinfeckle, traditional games such as wellie wanging, live birds of prey displays and folklore stroytelling were all on offer.
The event marked three years of Red Rose Forest and Lancashire Wildlife Trust's work to improve the nearby Lightshaw Meadows.
Mark Lupton, communications manager for Red Rose Forest, said: "It was a superb family fun day which highlighted all that's best about this area - its rich cultural heritage and history alongside its wonderful wildlife."
