Motorist denies dangerous driving after 16-year-old crushed against Atherton wall

A MOTORIST has denied dangerous driving after a 16-year-old boy was crushed against an Atherton wall.
The teenage student suffered multiple leg fractures and a severed toe after he was crushed against a wall in Bolton Road near Atherton railway station at 7am on November 22.
Nizamuddin Patel pleaded not guilty at Liverpool Crown Court today, Tuesday, to driving a Vauxhall Vectra dangerously on Newtown Road, Bolton and Bolton Road, Atherton last year.
The victim is still in a wheelchair and was not present in court but weeping relatives were in the public gallery.
Patel, of Saltwood Grove in Bolton, was further remanded on bail to await his trial due to begin on October 28.
