Murder mystery play promises laughter
2:30pm Thursday 3rd October 2013 in NW
MURDER, mystery and laughter are rife in the new production being staged by Culcheth Players.
Set in the drawing room of a country manor house in the 1930s, Murdered to Death, written by Peter Gordon, introduces the inept and bungling Inspector Pratt as he battles against the odds and his own incompetence to solve the murder of the house’s owner.
But it soon becomes clear that the murderer isn’t finished yet and the inspector must unmask the killer before someone else meets their doom – or will the audience die of laughter first?
The first in the Inspector Pratt trilogy of spoofs will be performed at Culcheth Sports Club on Charnock Road in Culcheth on October 10, 11 and 12 from 8pm.
Tickets are £6 and available on the door, from the club bar, the ticket line on 07824 424538 or online at the box office culchethplayers.co.uk.
