PATIENTS at a hospital in Atherton have earned four silver and three bronze awards for their impressive artwork.
Two of those works No Decision about Me and Dancing Queen are among three chosen to go on show at the Koestler Trust exhibition on London which features creations by patients at Partnerships in Care hospitals.
No Decision About Me by patients at The Spinney gained a silver award and Dancing Queen, the work of an individual being treated there, earned a Nick Le Mesurier commendation.
The Koestler Trust has been running the awards programme for offenders, secure patients and detainees for 50 years.
Partnerships in Care Chief Executive, Joy Chamberlain said: “The Koestler Awards and London exhibition are very important events in the calendar for many patients within secure care. I would like to congratulate all our patients who have entered the awards this year, in particular those who have received an award or recognition.”
