TICKETS for tomorrows Rugby League World Cup 2013 clash between Tonga and the Cook Islands is selling out fast.
Leigh Sports Village bosses are expecting more than 10,000 people to attend the match for the 8pm kick-off on Tuesday due to a surge in ticket sales since the tournament began.
The tournament has attracted bumper attendances since it kicked off two weeks ago.
Leigh Sports Village chief executive Simon Toon said: “The demand for tickets has been very high and we’re heading towards a sell-out. I know people like to buy a ticket on the night, but I would urge them to purchase in advance. We’d hate for people to be turned away.”
Tickets for every World Cup game can be bought at www.rlwc2013.com/tickets or by calling the 24-hour hotline on 0844 847 2013.
