President of Leigh Rotary Frank Bowker presented the selection boxes to Adrienne Simpson
HUNDREDS of selection boxes have been donated to give needy children a Christmas treat.
Leigh Rotary Club delivered 200 boxes of chocolate confectionery to the Kingsleigh branch of Atherton and Leigh Food Bank to ensure children of struggling families don’t go without.
Adrienne Simpson who leads the dedicated group of volunteers at Kingsleigh said: “We are so grateful to Leigh Rotarians for recognising the pain Christmas can bring to those who cannot give their children what so many others take for granted.”
