GOLBORNE Brass Band will be out and about spreading festive cheer throughout December.
A 10 piece outfit will be playing all day at Golborne Asda from 11am until 4pm on Sunday while the full band will be performing at Golborne Sports and Social Club on December 18 at 7pm.
The band has also recently appeared at the Golborne lights switch-on, Lowton Civic Hall and St.Thomas’ Church in Stockton Heath.
Band chairman Norma Tinsley said: “We just love to be busy at Christmas. We’ve had a great year playing some very challenging concerts with our director Paul Andrews. Next year we’re hoping to do well in some contests we’re entering.
“So Christmas is the bit in between where we can relax, play tunes that we’re familiar with, and enjoy ourselves.”
