Charles Dickens
CHARLES Dickens is coming to Atherton this Saturday.
Gordon and Veronica Walker from the Dickens Fellowship will don period costumes to give a reading of A Christmas Carol at Chowbent Chapel, on Bolton Old Road in Atherton, at 7pm.
Admission including seasonal refreshments is £4, with all proceeds going to the Chapel Restoration Fund.
